These blocks act similar to traditional vertical pipe blocks except it no longer checks for your position making it much easier to enter the pipe, this is also very useful for if you want to have pipes that are longer than 2 tiles wide.
Ok, I'll reject this block for now because of one reason, and one reason only: its UberASM code. If you apply it to a level as is... it'll mess with every vertical animation, and I mean even the normal ones. Apply it to GameMode 14 and? You just messed with every vertical pipe animation in every possible level.
This block struck to me as your generic press X to teleport with a feature that can mess with the original game's behavior. My immediate suggestion is: modify your UberASM code so it only works if you're activating your custom block, so the normal animations won't get messed up.
