aka my ASM.

Sequentually Rotating Platforms
Type: Sprite

This platform rotates in "sequences" - rotate->wait->rotate and so on. More info is in ASM.

NSMBU - Moving Turn Block Bridges
Type: Sprite

Originally requested by Roberto zampari in request thread. This turn block bridge moves vertically while it expands or retracts.

Directional Timed Lift
Type: Sprite

This is a timed lift that can move in 4 directions. It can also have variable timer set via extra byte.

BONUS:
Lakitu's Cloud Timer Indication
Type: Patch

This patch makes cloud blink and make sound effect, when it's timer's about to end, like in SMA2.

Part 2 featuring 2 3 new custom sprites

Part 3 with one more sprite

Part 4 with + 1 crazy platform and possibly -100 to my karma
Cool stuff! I really liked the Lakitu cloud indicator the most. It's useful, and something I wanted to do myself but laziness too busy with various projects and so I was beaten to it lol.

These are indeed platforms.
The sequentially rotating ones are those kinds of sprites you never noticed you needed until you see them. I cannot wait to play with them in some wacky setups.
Those timed lifts look awesome as well; and so does everything else.
Great job!

I'm sure I'll find it
Nice set with platforms!

I think that everything that you did is EXCELLENT!

My only suggestion is for the cloud blinking effect, I don't know if its the gif image but I would increase the rate of the blinking before it goes out and not even make a sound effect. I honestly think that sometimes people think there needs to be a sound effect but really the visual is enough.

For example do it like how M. Bison's caps vanishes.

Look at 14:48 in the youtube video.

Also one of my tricks is to copy other programming techniques that have been proven in the past with successful games.
Those sequentially-moving platforms are awesome. I can't believe I haven't seen them done yet!
Now all is left it's the long vrown platform of the level 103
Nice sprites i must say, Specially those rotating platforms

These rotating platforms really could work in clockwork levels.

Okay, my layout looks ugly.
I just can't stop loving your sprites. Nice work as always!

really love these sprites - the sequentially rotating platform is such a unique and fun sprite.
Wow, these look so good! I could see a lot of cool stuff being made with these platforms!
I love the Directional Timed Lifts! They remind me of the Arrow Platforms from Donkey Kong Country!
The Sequential Rotating Platforms and Moving Turn Block Bridges are also really neat!

User can define it all by themselves, so there should be no problem. how about blind playthroughs though

I think they can also fit in "rhythm" levels, like in DKCR.

(aka part 2)

Spike Platform
Type: Sprite

This platform can become spiky after a short amount of time either always or after stepping on it.

Springy Bubble/Bubble Platform
Type: Sprite

This is a bubble that can float on water surface or move in straight line and player can bounce on it or stand on like on a regular platform. Once it comes in contact with any surface, it'll pop. I imagine it being useful with shooters and in puzzle sections.

I see that the two future good platforms are best with bubbles

Wow, more awesome platforms. You've come so far, I remember when you asked for help on learning asm, then like overnight you started writing asm for whatever you please. It's mind boggling how far you came so quickly.
Nice job on my request, RussianMan.
i love the Moving Turn Block Bridges from NSMBU, but these sprites are too fast in moving.
Is there a way to make these sprites a bit slower?

About the bubble sprites you made, did you made a vertical version of it?
The absolute madman, I was expecting more that brown platform acting like a normal rotating platform (Like in the SMW64 bootleg from Sega Genesis) but that one is even better #smrpg{:D}

i think the animation for the spike platform is a bit... janky? the whole thing lowering and spikes suddenly appearing. maybe it'd look better with an in-between frame, and not shifting down?

the bubble is a cute sprite idea though! i especially like the in-water variant. also i hope you include the big long brown version of the sequential platforms in your sprite submission!
That bubble is amazing when combined with shooters. The spike platform looks nice too although I have to agree with idol that the animation is quite odd. Your other platforms look really nice too and I cannot wait to use them in some levels!
