What's that P-Switch?

I got exactly as far as "/ajax.php?a=pswitch".
So what does clicking it actually do? Is it a cookie clicker?
(For the lost: the P-Switch in the site's menu. Either tiny and on the bottom or large and hanging from the top.)

Sadly, no one really knows (except for admins and/or coders). No one has noticed any effect so far, so the best guess is that it's a joke.

Seems to share the image file with the username badges... Turns them publicly on/off maybe? *waits for donation availability to test and stops poking at website*
