Are there any specific rules to submitting an update to a fix me hack besides just following the standard guidelines?
I mean besides obvious things like getting permission if the user is still active.
Just make sure you do right what you set out to do, which is fixing crashes and breaks and what have you, and you should be good.

Many legacy hacks don't fall within our current guidelines design wise, so fixmes will not be judged on their design, it's just a matter of whether you fix what you set out to fix.
