I'll open this up by saying that my favorite decade would be the 90s. Most of my favorite artists either debuted or were at their prime during this decade, including SWV, TLC, Backstreet Boys, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and Boyz II Men.

I vote was 1990 but really it's late 90's to early 00's huge fan of punk and ska from that time period, Greenday, Blink-182, Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish and a whole lot more. I'm even liking the new stuff some of those bands have put out within the last couple years.

80's and 2000's are extremely close runner-ups to 90's.

Hm... All of these decades were great in their own rights, but I'll have to go with the '60s - The Animals, The Kinks, early Pink Floyd, the Beach Boys; and the most obvious one of course, the Beatles - that decade had some of the greatest melodies I've ever heard.

And of course, that's not even to mention all the songwriters from the time who came up with some really beautiful and meaningful lyrics as well, like Bob Dylan.

Of these choices, '70s, because of the introduction of funk music and those glorious two years when it fused with disco. In reality, I also really like the '30s, probably even more so.
