Windows Me (Mario Edition) - Now in Beta 1

Standard

Hello everyone. I wanted to show off the progress I've made so far with my first full hack!
It's a tribute for all things Windows, for better or for worse...

* 3 playable levels.
* One completed overworld (now in True 16-bit color).
* You will actually feel like you're Bill Gates (results may vary).

This hack is inspired by both BetaMaster64 for his Windows Mario World as well as SpaceOmega5000 for his unique level.

Feedback is appreciated. I've always wanted to make a hack like this, and I can't wait to see where it goes.
Full credits in the final version (patches/music).
I find the game completely cool and is also super built I also do an smw hack with windows but the game from in is better
Update 9/17

Since the last update, I haven't gotten much done with this hack. Other than writing down a few notes, there wasn't enough motivation into getting this done in a timely manner. However, after VLDC 12, I have gained a new interest in resurrecting the idea. I've even used new techniques I've learned from the contest.

Time will tell whether I will continue with the progress of this hack. In the meantime, here's some screenshots showing updates to some of the levels (inc. one from world 2).
I just played a demo of it. It's pretty cool to be honest. I really like the music ports.
please make it zsnes-compatible

why do you use zsnes

Benny Harvey RIP, miss you big man.

lmao. I love ideas like this.

Windows ME was a disaster to some, but my first x86 computer ran it and it ran many emulators, so I'll always have a soft spot for anything to do with that.

I'll follow this.
