I know theres Wine and virtual box but what's the best or easiest way to run Lunar Magic on linux? I'm not concerned with any other programs just LM.

Doubt there are any more options. Wine is the quickest but if you ask me Virtualbox is the most solid option once setup. Well, you could create a partition with Linux and Windows but that would probably be amore difficult to set up than a Virtualbox and not that useful anyway.
wine is way more convenient than virtualbox, and it works completely fine. what are you actually gaining from setting up a full vm?

That was my thought and though I've used linux before I'm relatively new to trying to run windows applications on it.
I just need to figure out how to get Wine working now.

I just prefer not using Wine at all. In my experience, not all programs run perfectly under Wine. And besides, a Virtualbox is not that difficult to set up at all, probably the most difficult step is finding a Windows ISO from a reliable source.
I have a windows iso but also I have very limited space on my laptop 32GB internal and dont fully want a Virtual machine if I can help it

Sure, then go ahead with Wine. It's just a matter of preference in the majority of cases.
