Pretty much what the title says.... I wanna use a "jumping" piranha plant sprite but I want it to just sit still. any help?
You could use this sprite disassembly and change the value in "jumping_piranha_4F+50.asm" below to a zero.

There are multiple solutions for this but it depends on the details. Do you want the piranha to still animate when Mario is near? Hunter's solution will do if the answer is yes.

If you want to stop the animation, you can *probably* add:

STZ !C2,x


Just above:

LDA !C2,x        ; sprite state


And it should work.
