Entry 1 Creativity: 7/20 Crafting: 6/20 Theme Adherence: 2/10 Total: 15/50 I couldn’t get this one to patch correctly, so I’m going to have to just go off the screenshots supplied. It, unfortunately, doesn’t look much like a house to me. I can see elements that look like they’re supposed to be home decorations (like the lighting element in the 2nd shot). It’s also a bit messy, to be honest. You could’ve used some map16 blocks with edges or really manipulated it to get a much cleaner look. I would’ve liked to have seen some ghost house or castle blocks to give it more of a building look than the sorta overworld-cave-ey look. The banzai pixel art was cute at the end. Entry 2 Creativity: 11/20 Crafting: 5/20 Theme Adherence: 5/10 Total: 21/50 This is a fun entry. I adore the gigantic pipes, but I don’t really get “house” from the level or the sublevel. Poor bill-der is just living in an unfurnished cave! The tools are a nice touch, but overall I think it could’ve been put together a bit better. The area that I’m assuming is the entrance is a bit wack. I’m not sure what the pile of blocks above Bombn-legg’s 2-tile high bomb house is supposed to be. I can kinda… Guess it’s supposed to be blocks storage? It looks really messy though and it’s hard to read. The cutoff bugs me a bit too. I get the intent, but I feel like you could’ve used the cave tiles to show “bare dirt” a bit better. Entry 3 Creativity: 19/20 Crafting: 20/20 Theme Adherence: 10/10 Total: 49/50 Wow, this is really well built. Absolutely adore the blueprint and the note from the crew. There’s a ton of creativity in what things are put together with. The SMM2 on the TV and the bean bag chair stand out especially to me. The -one- design flaw I noticed is that there’s an open fireplace in the house. Bombn-legg might blow up that TV! The colors on this are also really well done. Nice and bright without being smw-bright. I can’t get over how much I adore this to be honest. Excellent job. Entry 4 Creativity: 13/20 Crafting: 17/20 Theme Adherence: 7/10 Total: 37/50 this poor bullet’s house has already blown up once due to his pet bomb and here you’ve given him two fireplaces. the absolute audacity. This is nicely done. I actually really like the banzai-reminiscent color scheme of black and red. The use of the switch palace tiles as a carpet is really nice too. There appears to be some windows blocked by beams/fireplaces, and no actual entrance. I also don’t get a lot of “builder” from this, but it’s definitely a house. The potted trees are actually a really nice touch, but I wonder why you put them on the roof too. Is this like, a house with a deck on top? Entry 5 Creativity: 15/20 Crafting: 19/20 Theme Adherence: 8/10 Total: 42/50 This is really well put-together. I guess Banzai Bill-der lives in the big one in the middle? I don’t he’d fit in the smaller ones. With the hammer bros, it almost looks like they’re still working on construction. I love the look of the tree-houses actually, the way the spiral staircases are done reminds me almost of Terraria. The colors are really nicely done, even though I prefer bright colors, I feel like this works as an evening scene. Almost a rushed push to finish the house before the new homeowner shows up. The big thing I wish this had was a bit more of a clear indication our bullet friend is supposed to live here. There’s no real builder-y things besides hammer bros, to be honest. Entry 6 Creativity: 16/20 Crafting: 15/20 Theme Adherence: 9/10 Total: 40/50 This one is really cute. I love the detail that the house is shaped like a giant bullet bill launcher. The framed photos, the light switches, the distinct lack of a fireplace. The background is a bit empty, and I don’t see a Layer 3 usage. You could’ve put some clouds or forest there to liven it up a bit imo, but otherwise it’s built pretty well. The moles underground are a really nice touch. It would’ve been cool to see some furniture, or if possible some tools, but otherwise it fits the theme really well. Good job with this one.
